El extinto cine Santa Clara de Moguer a través del recuerdo y la fotografía

Abstract

Tradicionalmente los estudios históricos no han prestado especial interés en la historia del cine. No obstante, la investigación del séptimo arte es esencial para conocer con detalles la sociedad de la época. En este artículo se analizará la particular historia del cine Santa Clara de Moguer a través de la documentación escrita, los materiales conservados y los testimonios orales procedentes de la familia Díaz Robles, que fue la propietaria de este cine. Desde una perspectiva actual, se pretende reconstruir la historia de este negocio, que durante tantos días alegró a la población moguereña del siglo XX. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Traditionally historical studies have not shown an interest in the history of cinema. Nevertheless, investigation into the seventh art is essential in order to know in detail about the society of the time. In this text we analyse the particular story of the Santa Clara Cinema in Moguer, thanks to written documentation, objects from the cinema and oral testimonies from the Díaz Robles family, who were the cinema owners we are able to do so. From the perspective of the present it is intended to rebuild the history of this business, that for so many years brought happiness and entertainment to the population of the 20th century of Moguer.
