Abstract
La educación moral y cívica es el eje transversal nuclear en torno al que giran y se integran los restantes temas transversales y la acción educativa. En este artículo se nos presenta el papel de transversalidad que los medios de comunicación social tienen en el currículum educativo y se plantea con rigor la necesidad de que la escuela y los educadores transmitan, de forma crítica y reflexiva, los valores básicos, utilizando los medios de comunicación como elemento motivador, informativo, pedagógico, didáctico y creativo.
The moral and civilized education is the nuclear cross shaft around which the remaining transverse topics and the educational action revolve and integrate. In this article, the author shows the role of transversality that the social media has on the educational curriculum and suggests rigorously the need for the school and teachers to transmit, in a critical and thoughtful way, the basic values, using the media as a motivating, informative, pedagogical, educational and creative element.
