Abstract
Se describen varios lugares de interés geológico en la península de Bahoruco,
poniéndose en evidencia la elevada geodiversidad de esta región y
la existencia de un valioso patrimonio natural que podría requerir protección
y que, a su vez, es un recurso turístico, divulgativo y científico para el
desarrollo de la zona
Several sites of geological interest are described showing in the Bahoruco Peninsula what highlights the high geodiversity of the region and the existence of a high-value natural heritage that may require protection. In addition, these sites are a touristic, educational and scientific resource for the development of the area
