Del registro estratigráfico a la nueva realidad: El caso de Fuente - Álamo (Puente - Genil, Córdoba)

Abstract

La villa romana de Fuente Álamo, situada junto a un arroyo, se trata de un enclave hispano romano ubicado en la localidad de Puente Genil (Córdoba). Conocida por ofrecer unos de los mayores conjuntos de mosaicos figurativos y geométricos más importantes de España. Organizada en dos pars, con el presente artículo tratamos de desvelar los enigmas que esconden sus restos. Conjunto a ello, el objetivo del presente culmina en la realización de la reconstrucción virtual de la misma villa, materializando las ruinas que actualmente se visualizan.

The roman villa of Fuente Álamo, located next to a stream, is a roman hispanic in Puente Genil. It has one of the most important figurative and geometric mosaics sets in Spain. Composed of two pars, we try to reveal the riddles that hide their remains. Together with this, the objective of the present culminates in the realization of the virtual reconstruction of the same town, materializing the ruins that are currently displayed.
