Abstract
A pesar del papel estratégico que las tecnologías de la información y las
comunicaciones desempeñan en el sector turístico, en la literatura científica no abundan los trabajos
de investigación que analicen las necesidades formativas en turismo desencadenadas por el uso de
las TIC. A partir de la definición de necesidad de formación adaptada al contexto turístico y bajo el
enfoque de las competencias, este trabajo pretende crear un marco inicial de competencias digitales
que sirva de referencia a los agentes del sector a la hora de detectar y medir necesidades formativas
TIC. Para ello propone un listado de competencias genéricas y específicas (instrumentales, personales, sistémicas, conocimientos y habilidades) aplicable a diferentes subsectores turísticos que
han sido validadas por un panel de expertos. En futuros trabajos, dicho marco debería desarrollarse
con mayor profundidad para incluir mecanismos de actualización y escalas de medidas concretas
para cada competencia

This papers aims to create an initial framework of digital competencies for the tourism sector, which could serve to detect and measure IT training needs. To this end, it proposes a list of generic and specific competences (intrumental, personal, systemic, knowledge and skills) that has been validated by a experts panel. In future Works, this framework should be developed by including updating mechanisms and scales of specific measures for each competence
