Classroom y zoom en un cambio obligado de uso de tecnologias en educación

Abstract

Esta contribución se enfoca a describir la percepción de estudiantes de nivel licenciatura, ante el cambio de participar en clases presenciales a clases a distancia, mediadas por tecnología. Se estudia la incorporación de la plataforma Classroom y el uso de la herramienta Zoom como apoyos ante la necesidad de trabajar en la virtualidad, al no poderse continuar las clases presenciales por una contingencia sanitaria mundial. Se presenta un estudio de tipo exploratorio descriptivo con enfoque mixto, utilizando como instrumentos encuestas, con preguntas en escala de Likert y preguntas abiertas que se hicieron llegar a los informantes a través de la aplicación Google Forms. Se trata de un estudio de caso que se realizó en dos etapas: al inicio de la operación del cambio y al cierre del ciclo escolar. Las conclusiones contrastan la percepción de los estudiantes en la primera y en la segunda etapas.

This contribution focuses on describing the perception of undergraduate students, in the face of the mandatory change from participating in face-to-face classes into distance learning classes, heavily mediated by technology. The incorporation of the Classroom platform and the use of the Zoom tool to support the need to work online, as it is not possible to continue face-to-face classes due to a global health contingency, is studied. A descriptive exploratory study with a mixed approach is presented, using surveys as instruments, with Likert scale questions and open questions that were sent to the informants through the Google Forms application. This is a study case that was carried out in two stages: at the beginning of the operation of change and by the end of the school year.
