One of most used methods in our country to determinate the soil salinisation and sodification risk from the irrigation water composition is the U.S. Salinity Laboratory (USLS) classification, which used the electrical conductivity and the SAR (Sodium Adsorption Rate) of the irrigation water. However, it is well known that this method presents serious defects, because of it should be substitute by other more adecuated classifications, as the developped by the FAOen_US
