dc.description.abstractSome Clavatoraceae species have been determinated at the top of the Upper Berriasian-Lower Valanginian depositional sequence. Age determination is highly consistent with dating obtained through Foraminifera studies and formers carried out in the Maestrazgo Basin (Eastern Iberian Ranges). However, anagenetic transformation of Clavator harrisii (PECK) seems to take place during the Lower Valanginian and not lateren_US
