Abstract
Los valores no son conceptos abstractos sino proyectos globales de vida y actitudes básicas que llevan a comportamientos humanizadores. El autor de este artículo nos resalta el protagonismo que los medios de comunicación tienen en la Educación en Valores dentro del aula y, en concreto, nos pone de relieve el papel que la prensa tiene en la educación para la solidaridad, proponiéndonos una serie de actividades para analizar en los periódicos los contextos y significados de la palabra «solidaridad».
Values are not abstract concepts but global projects of life and basic attitudes that lead to humanizing behaviors. The author of this article highlights the importance that the media has on the Education in Values inside the classroom and, in particular, he emphasizes the role that the press has on the education for solidarity, suggesting a series of activities in order to analyze in newspapers the contexts and meanings of the word <<solidarity>>.
