Abstract

We consider the discharge patterns of the Vega de Granada aquifer by analysis of daily hydrographs from the Puente Castilla gauging station on the Genii river. The average groundwater drained flow is about 130 hmVyear (not including previously extractions). The mean depletion coefficient obtained is 4,6x1 O'3 days'1. We also relate the above flow data to daily precipitation and the piezometric level. Cross correlograms show an acceptable ratio between precipitation and piezometric level, which deteriorates when the drained flow is taken into account
