Caracterización hidrodinámica e hidroquímica del manantial de Río Jorox (Unidad Hidrogeológica Yunquera-Nieves, Málaga)

Abstract

The hydrodynamic and hydrochemical responses of Río Jorox spring (Yunquera-Nieves Hydrogeological Unit), with respect to precipitations recorded during the study period (1995-1998), show that the system drained by this spring is a karstic system, because rapid and important increases in the outflow of the spring are observed, accompanied of clear dilution phenomena. The analysis of recession curves, the variation in electricel conductivity over time and the variation range of this parameter, observed over the frecuency distribution curve, confirm the high karstification degree of the aquifer
