Sodium-calcium borate deposits of Neogene age and evaporitic lacustrine origin are in many aspects (lithofacies, facies belts, deposicional cycles, early and late diagenetic processes) similar to other chemical formations. The study of these particular precipitates, derived from thermal or volcanogenic fluids, accounts for a better understanding of most common types (sulphates, chlorides) of evaporitesen_US
