Abstract

The gastropod content of the Late Holocene alluvial morphosedimentary record was studied in the Bardenas Reales Natural Park (Navarra province). Seven species of micromoluscs was identified: Lymnaea truncatula (Müller, 1774), Ancylus fluviatilis (Müller, 1774), Truncatellina callicratis (Scacchi, 1833), Granopupa granum (Draparnaud, 1833), Lauria cylindracea (Da Costa, 1778), Vallonia pulchella (Müller, 1774) and Xeroplexa sp. The first two ones live in fresh water while the remaining five are terrestrial. Relative abundance in the gastropod assemblage indicates environmental changes during lat Holocene
