Un estudio bibliométríco sobre la investigación relacionada con "smart cities" en el sector turístico

Abstract

El creciente interés de los conceptos de "Smart Cities", el "Internet de las Cosas" y el "Big Data" en el sector turístico confirma el interés el corpus teórico y empírico desarrollado hasta la fecha dentro del área de las "Smart Cities" y Turismo. El objetivo general del presente artículo es realizar una análisis sobre el estado del arte en el área de investigación de "Smart Cities" o ciudades inteligentes y turismo, a través de un análisis bibliométríco. La principal conclusión de esta investigación es que se han publicado un total de 202 artículos relacionados en SCOPUS. Al mismo tiempo se observa como el corpus de artículos está muy centrado en revistas del área de la informática y tecnología. Estos resultados arrojan luz sobre la investigación en "Smart Cities" y presenta numerosas oportunidades, principalmente para el área de turismo y tecnología, donde se pueden realizar importantes aportaciones

The increasing importance of the "Smart Cities" concept, the "Internet of Things" and "Big Data" confirm the interest to research the theoretical and empirical corpus developed to tne date in the area of "Smart Cities" and tourism. The overall objective of this article is to analysis the state of the art in the research area of "Smart cities" in tourism, through a biblíometric analysis. The main conclusion of this research is that researchers have posted a total of 202 articles in SCOPUS. Furthermore, most of the articles are focused on journals in the field of computer science and technology. These results present numerous opportunities in the area of "Smart Cities" and tourism
