Mecanismos generadores de escorrentia en la vertiente de sierra de Gador (Almería)

Abstract

The factors contributing to the generation of runoff episodes on the southern edge of the Sierra de Gâdor are analised. The study includes the analysis o f physical characteristics as well as the temporal distribution of rainfall in the Carcauz basin, which is representative of the watershed considered. Despite the high permeability overall, there are areas which are prone to flooding, representing a risk to productive agricultural areas at the foot of the basin
