T1 Strurtural control on karst development a round the Spanish Central Range

AB The analysis of the orientation of 870 underground galleries from 35 caves and 668 fractures and other lineaments in seven karstic massifs around the Spanish Central Range points out a significative structural control of the endo- and exokarstic morphologies. The karstic galleries in the studied region show a dominant N135-165E trend, very similar to the orientation of the measured fractures and lineaments in the exokarst (N120-150E), and a secondary maximum at N90E
