abstract = {Over the last decade, the coastal city of Da Nang, Vietnam has
experienced a considerable rate of growth in its domestic and
international tourist visitation. Yet, little is known about how to
manage this growth into appropriate sustainable tourism for
development. To better understand a way forward, 16 tourism
stakeholders from the public and private sectors in Da Nang were
interviewed. Specifically, questions inquired about tourism assets
and sustainability. The findings in this research help to establish
baseline perceptions of tourism stakeholders in Da Nang and
represent a step forward in the city’s interest in sustainable tourism
for development},
abstract = {Durante la última década, la ciudad costera de Da Nang, Vietnam, ha experimentado un considerable aumento de su turismo domestico e internacional. Aun así, poco se conoce sobre como manjar este crecimiento para un apropiado desarrollo de un turismo sostenible. Para entender mejor el camino a seguir, 16 accionistas turísticos de sectores públicos y privados en Da Nang fueron entrevistados. Específicamente, las preguntas trataban sobre los activos turístico y la sostenibilidad. Los hallazgos de esta investigación ayudaron a establecer las bases de la percepción de los accionistas del turismo en Da Nang y representa un paso hacia adelante en el interés de la ciudad por el desarrollo del turismo sostenible.},
