AB En este trabajo se describen tres tipos de yacimientos de FeMn en la Sierra del Cuera (Cordillera Cantábrica, NO de España):Sedimentarios (Carbonífero), hidrotermales de baja temperatura(Pérmico inferior) y supergénicos kársticos (Cuaternario). Se hananalizado las interrelaciones entre estos yacimientos, determinando su evolución temporal: los yacimientos sedimentarios fueron losprimeros en generarse. Posteriormente, el Fe-Mn fue removilizadopor un evento hidrotermal y, finalmente, reconcentrado por procesos kársticos recientes
AB This paper describes three different Fe-Mn ore-types found inCuera Range (Cantabrian Mountains, NW Spain): Sedimentary(Carboniferous), low-temperature hydrothermal (early Permian)and karstic supergene (Quaternary). Relationships between theseore-types have been analyzed, finding that they follow a temporaryevolutive path: firstly, sedimentary ores were formed. Secondly, FeMn was remobilized by a hydrothermal event and, eventually, FeMn was reconcentrated by recent karstic processes
