En el guion viene recogido que unamujer corre por el pasillo tras encontrar un cadáverensangrentado.A unos metros, otro equipo visualiza y edita las imágenesgrabadas el día anterior.A pesar de lo que parezca, estas imágenes no sedesarrollan en una redacción de periódico, ni en unplató de cine, ni tampoco en una sala de postproducciónde una televisión. Si algo tienen en común estastres escenas, es que se desarrollan en un mismolugar: el centro de educación secundaria de MálagaIsaac Albéniz. Además, los que las protagonizan no sonprofesionales, ni docentes, sino alumnos de 3º y 4º dela ESO.Estas tres clases se engloban en dos asignaturas: Mediosde Comunicación y Cine. Ellas, y los niños quelas cursan, son el elemento central de esta historia.Ambas pertenecen a una iniciativa de estudios pensadapara introducir a los niños en el mundo de la comunicación:el Plan Audiovisual.La idea surge a raíz de una conversación informalentre el director del centro y dos profesores. Todosellos sentían interés por el mundo del cine y de la imagen.En base a esta inclinación común nace la iniciativade llevar el mundo audiovisual a las aulas. Pocotiempo después, en colaboración con el departamentode lengua, se decide ofertar dentro de este plan unaasignatura dedicada al resto de medios de comunicaciónpara brindar una educación más completa. Demanera complementaria, se plantea poner en marchaun festival de cortometrajes donde los alumnos puedanponer en práctica sus conocimientos. Tras una planificaciónde casi un año, el proyecto se pone en marchadurante el curso 2011-2012.
AB In a computer screen, the mouse cursor descends diagonally, opening the typing box that will hold a press article. At the same time, a cameraman is asking his team for silence. “Recording. Action”. It is specified on the script: a women is running down the corridor after finding a bloody corpse. Few meters apart, another team is visualizing and editing the scenes recorded the day before. Despite what it seems, this is not taking place at a newspaper’s office, a movie set, nor in a post-production television set. This three scenes are happening in the same place: Isaac Albéniz secondary school, Málaga. The starring actors and producers are not professionals or teachers, but students of 3rd and 4th of ESO. These three classrooms are divided into two subjects: “Communication Media” and “Cinema”. They are the central element of this story. Both of them belong to a studies inniciative designed with the purpose of introducing the students to the communication world: the Audiovisual Plan. This idea parts from a colloquial conservation between the highschool’s principal and two teachers. All of them felt interested in the cinematographic and picture world. Parting from this shared interest the iniciative of bringing the audiovisual world inside the classrooms was created. Short time after, and co-operating with the Languages department, a subject related to the rest of the communication media is offered in order to proporcionate a fuller education. In a complementary way, the idea of starting a short-films festival where the students can put into practice their knowledge is being discussed. After a one-year planning, this project is running during the 2011-2012 course.
