T1 Los equipos docentes : una contribución formativa a la calidad del profesorado universitario

AB Entre las funciones docentes universitarias, la investigación y la formación erudita han sido y son los referentes básicos para evaluar la calidad de la enseñanza en este nivel educativo. Sin embargo, no ha habido una consideración prioritaria sobre la formación pedagógica de los docentes en la Universidad. Las autoras de este artículo realizan una propuesta para la formación inicial del profesorado universitario basada en los mentores (profesores con más experiencia que actúan como consejeros de los profesores principiantes). Esta iniciativa se ha visto plasmada en un Plan Formativo para Profesores Principiantes que desde 1995 se viene desarrollando en el ICE de la Universidad de Sevilla y con dos ejes fundamentales: la reflexión / análisis de la práctica docente y el asesoramiento
AB Among the university teaching functions, research and scholarly training have been and are the basic references to evaluate the quality of teaching at this educational level. However, there has not been a priority consideration on the pedagogical training of teachers at the University. The authors of this article make a proposal for the initial training of university teachers based on mentors (more experienced teachers who act as counselors for beginning teachers). This initiative has been reflected in a Training Plan for Beginning Teachers that since 1995 has been developed in the ICE of the University of Seville and with two fundamental axes: reflection / analysis of teaching practice and advice.
