T1 Aplicación de la Terapia de Aceptación y Compromiso a un Caso de Fobia a la Sangre

AB El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar la aplicación de la Terapia de Aceptación y Compromiso en unpaciente de 38 años con fobia a la sangre. El problemase conceptualizó desde un punto de vista funcionalcomo un Trastorno Evitativo Experiencial. La intervención se llevó a cabo en formato individual durante 20sesiones más dos de seguimiento. El objetivo principal de la intervención consistió en generar en el paciente la habilidad para contactar con cualquier experiencia que surja en la circunstancia presente y responder a ella con acciones que permitan avanzar endirecciones de valor importantes para él. Las medidasde ansiedad y depresión pre y post-test empleadas,mostraron una mejoría significativa al final del proceso psicoterapéutico, tanto en el componente fóbicocomo en su calidad de vida
AB The objective of this work is to present the application of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in a38 year old patient with blood phobia. The problemwas conceptualised from a functional point of viewas an Experiential Avoidance Disorder. The procedurewas carried out using a format of 20 individual sessions plus two follow up ones. The main objective ofthe procedure consisted in generating in the patientthe ability to connect with any experience that mightarise in the present circumstance and to respond toit with actions that allows advancement in directionsthat have important values for him. The assessmentof anxiety and depression pre and post-test used,showed a significant improvement at the end of thepsychotherapeutic process, both on the phobic sideas well as with quality of life
