Valoración de su anisotropía T1 Influence of petrographic features on the petrophysical properties and durability of the Classic Travertine. Analysisof its anisotropy A1 Benavente, David A1 Medina Lapeña, Francisco Javier A1 Martínez Martínez, Javier A1 Cueto, Nora A1 García del Cura, María Angeles AB The influence of facies on the petrophysical properties and durability of the Classic Travertine isstudied. This travertine is a light travertine quarried in Turkey, which is widely used in Spain as buildingstone and is extremely similar to the Travertino Romano Classico. Its physical properties (pore structureand hygric, thermal, acoustic and mechanical properties) and its resistance to durability tests (freeze-thawand salt crystallization action) corroborate the good performance of this travertine as a dimensional stone. Its structure and fenestral porosity are the main causes of rock anisotropy. The results show that rockanisotropy has a particularly important influence on the hygric and mechanical behavior of the ClassicTravertine, while it has a minor effect on wave velocities and stone durability YR 2009 FD 2009 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8047 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8047 LA spa DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva RD 30 may 2026
