AB En el presente trabajo realizamos un análisiscrítico y diacrónico sobre las diferencias observadasen cuanto a normativas de protección y modelosde gestión emprendidos por las administracionescompetentes en las últimas cuatro décadas enel tratamiento de los valores patrimoniales queconvergen en la isla de Saltés. Diferencias que handerivado en la subordinación efectiva a todos losniveles del Patrimonio Cultural en su conjuntoal Patrimonio Natural y, como consecuencia,en el abandono generalizado del yacimientoarqueológico de Medina Shaltîsh como máximoexponente cultural de dichos valores. Establecemoslas pautas que consideramos han de llevarse acabo para revertir el desequilibrio detectado en eltratamiento y gestión de ambos patrimonios y, conello, las directrices a seguir para el emprendimientodefinitivo de verdaderas políticas activas de gestiónque fomenten la investigación, conservación, puestaen valor y difusión social de los valores culturales dela ciudad andalusí de la Ría de Huelva, según lasconclusiones aportadas en nuestra tesis doctoral.
AB In this paper we carry out a critical anddiachronic analysis of the differences observed interms of protection regulations and managementmodels undertaken by the competentadministrations in the last four decades in thetreatment of the heritage values that converge onthe island os Saltés. These differences have led tothe effective subordination of the Cultural Heritageas a whole to the Natural Heritage at all levels and,as a consequence, to the widespread abandonmentof the archaeological site of Medina Shaltîsh asthe greatest cultural exponent of these values. Weestablish the guidelines that we consider must becarried out to reverse the imbalance detected inthe treatment and management of both heritagesand, whit it, the guidelines to be followed for thedefinitive undertaking of true active managementpolicies that promote the research, conservation,enhancement and social dissemination of thecultural values of the Andalusian city of the Ríade Hueva, according to the conclusions provided inour doctoral thesis.
