RT Journal Article T1 Estudio de la Orientación Cristalográfica Preferente del Cuarzo en el Contacto entre Gneises y Metatexitas - Diatexitas del Macizo Cerro Pelado (Sierra de Comechingones, Argentina) T1 Study of the Crystallographic Preferred Orientation in Quartz at the Contact between the Gneisses and Metatexites-Diatexites of the Cerro Pelado Massif (Sierra de Comechingones, Argentina) A1 Castellarlni, P. A1 Fernández Rodríguez, Carlos A1 Otamendi, Juan E. AB The quartz c-axis fabrics measured in the rocks of the high-grade unit of the Cerro Pelado massif (northern Sierra de Comechingones, Sierras Pampeanas, Argentina) allow to deduce a normal-sinistral sense of movement for the south-dipping shear zone separating the diatexite-metatexite domain to the north, from the gneissic terrane to the south. The crystallographic fabrics also indicate that the activity of this shear zone took place under high-T conditions. The deduced kinematics can account for the syn-metamorphic exhumation of the migmatite domain PB Sociedad Geológica de España YR 2003 FD 2003 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8985 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8985 LA spa DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva RD 13 jul 2026
