AB El presente estudio analiza la retórica belicista delas agencias internacionales Reuters, Al Arabiya,Al Jazeera y Associated Press (AP) sobre lasinformaciones relativas a los atentados de Parísdel 13 de noviembre de 2015 durante 15 díasposteriores al acontecimiento. Para ello, partimosde un análisis cualitativo de 550 unidadesinformativas mediante la utilización del softwareMAXQDA (v. 11.0.11). A la muestra seleccionadale fue aplicada los criterios semánticos deldiscurso mediático: funcionalidad, significación ydireccionalidad de la meta. En los resultadosprevalece la demonización del Islam, laexaltación del miedo y pánico en la construccióndiscursiva y la espectacularización de lasinformaciones, como estrategia comunicativa enel tratamiento retórico.
AB This study analyzes warmongering rhetoricpresented by international agencies Reuters, AlArabiya, Al Jazeera and Associated Press (AP) ofthe information related to the terrorist attacks inParis on November 13th, 2015 for 15 days after theevent. We have started from a quantitative andqualitative analysis of 550 information units usingthe software MAXQDA (v. 11.0.11). Subsequently,the semantic criteria of media discourse:functionality, significance and direction of thegoal was applied on the selected sample. Theresults demonstrate the prevailing demonizationof Islam, the exaltation of fear and panic in thediscursive construction and it highlighted thespectacle of the information as a communicativestrategy on the rhetorical guidance.
