AB En este trabajo, los autores ofrecen el panorama general de la investigación enpsicomotricidad, presentando los métodos, diseños y modelos utilizados eneste contexto, así como un breve repaso a las temáticas sobre las que se vienepublicando en los últimos años. Para ello, se han analizado un total de 428estudios sobre psicomotricidad. obtenidos a través de distintas bases de datos.Estas investigaciones nos muestran cómo la psicornotridad, orientada ensus comienzos hacia el sector reeducativo o terapéutico. se está extendiendoal contexto educativo en épocas recientes. Este cambio ha supuesto, en lapráctica, la ubicación de la psicomotricidad en el terreno de la innovacióneducativa, siendo considerada como un instrumento de cambio en la escuela.____________________________________In this work the authors offer a general overview on «psycho motor functionresearch», presenting the methods, designs and models used in that field.Furthermore they brifly review the topics, which have been published withinthe last few years. For that purpose a total of 428 studies on psycho motorfunction have been analysed, obtained by means of several databases. Theseinvestigations prove to us how psycho motor function now is expanding tothe educational arena, although primarity aimed towards the reeducationalor therapeutic sector. In fact, this change has positioned the psycho motorfunction in the arena of educational innovation, being considered an instrumentof change in the schools.
