El volumen que nos ocupa, retratala complejidad de la Educación Social como campode conocimiento. Debemos reconocer que se trata deun perfil relativamente reciente, que a nivel global seencuentra en distintos momentos de afianzamiento yreconocimiento. Por ello, la diversidad de aportacionesrefleja esta circunstancia, así como la necesidadde su progreso y avance en la comunidad, permitiendouna investigación e intervención socioeducativaque contribuyan al cambio social.De este modo, elpresente monográfico presenta, en primer lugar, losartículos dedicados a investigaciones socioeducativasy, en segundo lugar, aquellos orientados a análisis yreflexiones en contextos socioeducativos
AB This article presents the monographic section ofvolume 14 of thejournal En-clave Pedagógica. Thevolumethatoccupiesus,portraysthecomplexity of SocialEducation as a field of knowledge. We must recognizethat this is a relatively recent profile, which atglobal level is at different moments of strengtheningand recognition. Therefore, the diversity of contributionsreflects this circumstance, as well as the needfor its progress and advancement in the community,allowing research and socio-educational interventionthat contribute to social change. Thus, the presentmonograph presents, firstly, articles devoted to socioeducationalresearch and, secondly, those oriented toanalysis and reflections in socio-educational contexts
