T1 Cognitive - Behavioral Interventionin a case of Trichotillomania

AB En este trabajo se presenta el caso clínico de unamujer de 21 años de edad que presenta trastornodel control de los impulsos de tipo Tricotilomanía.El objetivo planteado es doble: disminuir laansiedad y reducir la frecuencia del arrancamientodel vello. Para ello se emplea una intervenciónde tipo cognitivo-conductual. Los resultadosobtenidos, en un principio positivos debidoa que se produce un descenso de la conducta nodeseada, no permiten llegar a la conclusión deque la intervención haya sido satisfactoria ya queel abandono por parte de la cliente antes de su finalizaciónhace que no se pueda confirmar talhecho a lo largo del tiempo. A pesar del incrementoen el número de investigaciones sobre estetrastorno siguen existiendo muchas incógnitaspor resolver. Cuestiones relacionadas con factoresetiológicos, prevalencia, adhesión al tratamiento,aportación de cada técnica, etc., necesitan demás estudios que le den respuesta.
AB This study presents the clinical case ofa 21-year-old woman who is presenting impulsecontrol disorders type Trichotillomania. Twoaims appear, to diminish the anxiety and thefrequency of hair pulling. The intervention usedis of cognitive - behavioral type. The results are,in a beginning positives because there is a decreaseof the unwated bahavior, do not allow toconclude that the intervention has been successfulsince the abandon by the client before itconclusion does that it could not confirm sucha fact throughout the time. In spite of the increasein the number of investigations on thisdisorder many unknows are not resolved.Questions related to etiological factors, prevalence,treatment adherence, contribution ofeach technique, etc., they need from studiesthat respond its.
