AB Este estudio presenta una nueva edad U-Pb usando el método SHRIMPobtenida en circones de un dique básico, que intruye en materiales devónicosde la Zona Axial pirenaica. Los circones tienen formas euhedrales y muestrancaracterísticas magmáticas, como un zonado oscilatorio carente de bordesrecristalizados. Los datos obtenidos proporcionan una edad de 259 ± 3,2Ma (2σ), que hemos interpretado como la edad de la intrusión del dique. Lascaracterísticas del dique lo relacionan estrechamente con el episodio volcánicopost-Varisco que se ha reconocido en este área y que es coherente conla edad obtenida. Este magmatismo se produjo en condiciones tardi- a postorogénicasy está relacionado con el desarrollo de las cuencas estéfano-pérmicasde los Pirineos. Esta nueva edad obtenida alarga el lapso de tiempopara el magmatismo pérmico en los Pirineos
AB This study presents new U-Pb analyses using a sensitive high-resolutionion microproble (SHRIMP) on zircons from a basic dyke intruded in Devonianslates and limestones from the Axial Zone of the Central Pyrenees. Thezircon grains exhibit euhedral shapes with clear magmatic characteristics asoscillatory or sector zoning without recrystallized rims. Zircons yield a concordantage of 259 ± 3.2 (2σ) Ma, that we interpret as the intrusion age ofthe dyke. The petrological features of the dyke points to a close relationshipwith the post-Variscan volcanism recognized in the area, an interpretationthat is consistent with the Permian age of the dyke. This magmatism developedunder late- to post-orogenic conditions and is related to the formationof the Stephanian-Permian basins disseminated along the Pyrenees. The newobtained age broadens the time span of the Permian magmatism in the Pyrenees
