RT Journal Article T1 Respuesta mecánica de medios bifásicos. Influencia de la disposición espacial de sus constituyentes T1 Rheological response to flow of a two-phase composite. Influence of the spatial distribution of the phases A1 Griera, Albert A1 Takeda, Y. T. A1 Gómez Rivas, Enrique AB Numerical simulations were per formed to investigate the strain-dependent behaviour of rheological responseto flow of two-phase rocks. Two types of microstructures were considered: strong phase supported (SPS)and weak phase supported (WPS) structures. Additionally, the influence of the spatial distribution of theinclusions and the volume of weak fraction were studied. The results showed a non linear behaviour of thecomposite, with strain hardening preceding strain sof tening in both structures. Otherwise, an anisotropicdependence on viscous and elastic properties was observed in relation to the initial orientation of theinclusions. This behaviour is related with shape changes of phases, the development of internal instabilitiesand the deformation partitioning YR 2006 FD 2006 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8529 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8529 LA spa DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva RD 31 may 2026
