Both species show a similar morphology but with small differences represented by a metric ratio. In the scapula, the most relevant is the one that relates the smallest length of Collum (LmC) with the greatest length of the glenoid process (LMP). In the humerus, the index with a discriminator value is less clear. Anatomic features of both bones are valid for taxonomic determination}, title = {Estudio morfométrico comparativo de la escápula y húmero de ciervo (Cervus elaphus) y reno (Rangifer tarandus) del Pleistoceno Superior}, title = {Comparative morphometrical study of scapula and humerus between red deer (Cervus elaphus) and reindeer (Rangifer tarandus) from Upper Pleistocene}, author = {Castaños, Jone and Castaños, Pedro and Murelaga, Xabier and Alonso Olazabal, Ainhoa and Ortega, Luis Ángel and Zuluaga, María Cruz and Sáez de Lafuente, Xabier}, }
