AB Este artículo analiza las traducciones que hicieron Holderlin yGoethe de dos fragmentos de Las Bacantes de Eurípides. Hvlderlinutiliza su versión del prólogo de la tragedia, pronunciado por Díoniso,para expresar su concepción de la poesía y de la función del poeta. Asu vez, Goethe tradujo al final de su vida la escena más patética de laobra, la anagnórisis de Agave.___________________________________article analyzes the respective translations that Hölderlin andGoethe made of two fragments of Euripides Bacchants. Hblderlinchooses his fragment, the tragedy's prologue spoken by Dionysus, toexpress his conception of poetry and the function of the poet. Goethe.in turn, translated near the end of his life the most pathetic scene ofthe play, the anagnorisis of Agave.
