Función de atenuación del movimiento del suelo y cálculo probabilístico T1 Considering geological data and geologically based criteria in seismic hazard analysis of moderate activity regions:II. Strong ground motion attenuation function and probabilistic calculations A1 García Mayordomo, Julián AB This paper constitutes the second part of a previous one where the importance of geological data andgeologically based criteria in the first two steps of a seismic hazard analysis (SHA) were studied. This paperdeals now with the last two steps in SHA: Strong ground motion attenuation function and probabilisticcalculations. In the first one, geological knowledge is of great importance to identify and classify soilconditions and to effectively incorporate the effect of faulting mechanism in hazard calculations. In thesecond one, the interest of considering paleoseismological data –e.g., maximum geological magnitude, mean recurrence period, elapsed time since last event– in computing probabilities is reviewed YR 2007 FD 2007 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8419 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8419 LA spa DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva RD 31 may 2026
