AB The information about the turtles from the Early Cretaceous of the Iberian Peninsula is, until now, very poor. We describe here three specimens found in the Lower Cretaceous (Hauterivian-Barremian) of La Rioja, of at least two different taxa,	being one of them Salasemys pulcherrima. This study provides newdata on the representatives ofthe Spanish Fucryptodiran turtles
