AB En este artículo anotamos y comentamos varios pasajes delIdeal andaluzde Blas Infante y situamos los textos en su contexto polí-tico,filosófico y literario. Se relaciona la obra de Infante con los textosprogramáticos del andalucismo histórico, el regeneracionismo, el idea-lismo hegeliano, la teosofía y las ideas de Carlyle y Spencer. A partir decimientos tan heterogéneos, Blas Infante intenta construir y autorizaruna conciliación entre nacionalismo y regionalismo, al tiempo que rei-vindica el papel de Andalucía como región que puede liderar la direcciónespiritual del progreso de España sobre la base de su fortaleza, alegría,ingenio y voluntad de ser.
AB In this article we annotate and comment several passages ofBlas Infante’sIdeal andaluz,and we situate texts in their political, phi-losophical and literary context. The Infante’s work is related with pro-grammatic texts of the historicalAndalucism,Regenerationism, Hegelianidealism, theosophy, and the ideas of Carlyle and Spencer. Over such he-terogeneous foundations, Blas Infante attempts to construct and authori-ze the reconciliation between nationalism and regionalism, and he claimsthe role of Andalusia as a region that can lead the spiritual direction toSpain’s progress, on the basis of his force, joy, wit and will to be.
