AB Jean Giono, escritor francés del siglo XX, permaneceen nuestras memorias con sus obrasmarcadas por un pacifismo empedernido, unanaturaleza exaltada y una profunda influenciaromántica. Novelas, relatos y ensayos componenel itinerario literario de Jean Giono y sinembargo es gracias al teatro como últimamentereaparece en el panorama literario. Así, 2011nos devuelve un Giono desconocido por el públicogracias a la puesta en escena por FrançoisRancillac de una de las escasas creaciones teatralesde este autor Le Bout de la route. Llegara conocer mejor un Jean Giono distinto, visitarla obra teatral de este viajero inmóvil, tal comole gustaba definirse, constituyen la meta y lavoluntad de nuestro artículo.
AB Jean Giono, a twentieth-century French writer,stays in our memories through writings characterizedby an inveterate pacifism, an exaltedfeeling of nature and a deep romantic influence.Novels, short stories and essays compose theliterary path of Jean Giono and yet it is the theaterthat made him reappear recently in the literaryscene. In 2011 an unknown Giono returnsthanks to the staging by François Rancillacof one of the few theatrical creations by thisauthor, Le Bout de la route. Getting to knowbetter this different Jean Giono, exploring theplay by this motionless traveler, as he liked todefine himself, are the goals of our article.
