RT Journal Article T1 Espesores y contenido de CaCO3 en los pares marga-caliza del Daniense (Sopelana, Arco Vasco) T1 Thickness and (%) CaCO3 contents in the marl-limestone couplets of the Danian (Sopelana, Basque Arc) A1 Domínguez, E. A1 Echeberria, J. A1 Gómez Urtasun, I. A1 Ibisate, Ruth A1 Martínez García, Blanca A1 Elorza, Javier AB The Sopelana sea-cliff section exposes, a continuous marl-limestone alternation from the Danes in the deepBasque Arc domain. The 95 rhythms studied represent ~1180 ka and correspond to ~20cm/20ka. Thelimestone layers are thicker than marls and the Fischer diagram detects several shifts of high sedimentationand some well-marked minimums. The high-resolution of the twelve limestone layers (<1cm/analysis; 317analysis, 3.06 m) shows complex curves indicative of climatic fluctuations. The pink-white colour variationsare indicative of accidental oxygenated water masses presence, without diagenesis influence YR 2006 FD 2006 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8467 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8467 LA spa DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva RD 30 may 2026
