AB Introducción: Desde el espacio europeo de educación superior se destaca el desarrollo decompetencias clave en el alumnado universitario, destacando especialmente el«aprender aaprender». Esto supone nuevos retos profesionales para el profesorado, que además de adquirirformación, utiliza su bagaje experiencial para adaptarse a los cambios y ofrecer una ense˜nanzade calidad.Objetivo: En este escenario realizamos un estudio en la Facultad de Enfermería de la Universidadde Huelva (Espa˜na) con el objetivo de analizar las claves de la formación que reciben losfuturos enfermeros y enfermeras desde la experiencia docente de uno de sus profesores.Metodología: Empleamos el método biográfico-narrativo (historia de vida) como herramientadesde la que acceder al conocimiento consolidado de un médico, apasionado por la educacióndesde su juventud hasta su jubilación.Discusión: El resultado se traduce en el dise˜no de una historia de vida muy peculiar, cuyo análisisofrece numerosas pistas para entender mejor cómo aprenden hoy los estudiantes y cómo se hade ense˜nar en los estudios de la enfermería.Conclusiones: Destacan la importancia del aprendizaje significativo, la interdisciplinariedad,la atención integral de las necesidades del alumnado y la humanización de todo el procesoformativo.
AB Introduction: Within the European Higher Education Area the development of key skills inuniversity students is important, especially emphasising the ‘‘learning to learn’’. This bringsnew professional challenges for teachers, who in addition to acquiring training, using theirexperiential background to adapt to changes and provide quality education.Objective: This paper summarises a study in the School of Nursing of the University of Huelva(Spain), with the aim of analysing the key features to the training of future nurses from theteaching experience of one of its teachers.Methodology: The biographical-narrative approach (life story) is used as a tool by which toaccess the consolidated knowledge of a physician, passionate about the Education Sciencesfrom youth to retirement.Discussion: The result translates into the design of a very peculiar life story, with an analysisthat offers many clues to better understand how students learn today, and how nursing mustbe taught.Conclusions: In this sense, the conclusions deal about the importance of meaningful learning,interdisciplinary, comprehensive care of the student’s needs and ultimately, the humanisationof the whole training process.
