AB El empleo de las emociones durante la etapa de EducaciónInfantil juega un papel fundamental en la construcciónde la personalidad y en las interacciones sociales delalumnado. Por ello, el presente trabajo tiene como objetivoanalizar el estado del arte relacionado con el estudiode las emociones en Educación Infantil mediante eldesarrollo de una revisión bibliométrica, puesto que lasevidencias científicas respaldan la importancia del aprendizajede las emociones. Para ello, se empleó la base dedatos Web of Science, identificándose un total de 114manuscritos relacionados con la temática objeto de estudio.Además, los resultados obtenidos muestran que esun campo incipiente para los investigadores en el ámbitode la Educación Infantil. La mayoría de los documentos seencuentran clasificados en la categoría de Education andEducational Research. Los documentos que presentan unmayor número de citas son de Blair et al. (2004), con 155,y el artículo de Yoshikawa et al. (2015), con 135, encontrándosela mayoría de los manuscritos redactados en inglés.Las evidencias científicas halladas como resultado del presenteestudio respaldan la importancia del aprendizaje delas emociones en Educación Infantil, y se recomienda a losinvestigadores realizar estudios colaborativos y aumentarel número de estudios relacionados con el empleo de lasemociones en el aula de Educación Infantil.
