AB El estudio del significado del trabajo se vuelve especialmente relevante en las etapaslaborales entre los 50 y 65 años dados los cambios socioeconómicos y laboralesactuales y su impacto en el bienestar. El objetivo de este estudio es analizar elsignificado del trabajo en una muestra de 165 trabajadores mayores del Polo Químicode Huelva y sus relaciones con el bienestar y la satisfacción laboral. Los resultadosobtenidos en el análisis de correspondencias múltiples apoyarían la presencia dediferentes discursos morales del trabajo asociados a un mayor y menos bienestar en eltrabajo.
AB The importance of work líes not only on its psychosocial functions (salary,scheduling ... ), but al so as a fundamental foundation of individual identity. Given theimportance of work in post-modero societies, the changes of labor politics associatedwith the work of seniors and the elderly, and the absence of studies, this investigationintends to explore the relationships of the elements that are inherent to the meaning ofwork and those amongst themselves, as well as satisfaction at work. The total sample ismade up of 162 participants, all active employees of chemical and basic companies inHuelva. The factors obtained through the ACM support the presence of diverse moraldiscourses about work within the Spanish society (Crespo, et al., 1998), mainly as faras the discourse of coercion and the discourse of the internalized duty.
