RT Journal Article T1 Evolución paleoambiental del Norte de España durante los últimos 2500 años a partir del estudio de biomarcadores de la Turbera de Roñanzas (Asturias) T1 Palaeoenvironmental evolution of Northern Spain during the last 2500 years inferred from biomarker analysis ofthe Roñanzas Peat Bog (Asturias) A1 Ortiz, José Eugenio A1 Gallego, J. R. A1 Torres, Trinidad de A1 Moreno, Laura A1 Villa, R. AB The biomarkers, mainly n-alkanes, preserved in the Roñanzas Peat Bog record allow to identify Sphagnumvs. Ericacea-dominated episodes, which are related to five cyclic humid periods alternating with other fivedry phases, respectively, over the last 2500 years. Because of the excellent preservation of materials inombrotrophic bogs, with lacking of any anthropic influence, it is possible to extend these results to thenorth of the Iberian Peninsula. Good correspondence is also observed with studies from the central part ofSpain and global palaeoclimatic events YR 2008 FD 2008 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8259 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8259 LA spa DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva RD 30 may 2026
