AB The Chronicle of the Dominicans of Majorcais an annalistic compilation writtenpartly in Latin and partly in Catalanand preserved by the manuscript Palmade Mallorca, Archive of the Kingdom ofMajorca, C-4739, xvii th C., ff. 38r-41v. Theoldest news (in Latin) dates back to 985,while the most recent (in Catalan) correspondsto 1552. G. Llabrés edited the workin 1909, but he did not faithfully reproducethe manuscript. This paper offers the firstfaithful edition of the original text, studyits contents and provides a linguistic analysisof the news in Latin
AB El Cronicón de los Dominicos de Mallorcaes una compilación analística escrita enparte en latín y en parte en catalán y conservadaen el manuscrito Palma de Mallorca,Archivo del Reino de Mallorca, C-4739,s. xvii , ff. 38r-41v. Su noticia más antigua(en latín) se remonta al año 985, mientrasque la más reciente (en catalán) correspondea 1552. Existe una edición de G. Llabrésaparecida en 1909, pero este editor no reprodujocon fidelidad el texto del códice.Este trabajo ofrece la primera reproducciónfiel del texto original, estudia sus contenidosy ofrece un análisis lingüístico de lasentradas en latín
