AB Este artículo de revisión muestra el fundamento teórico deaportes, líneas de investigación y enfoques que existen desde elpunto de vista Iberoamericano, con el objetivo de mostrar cuantitativamentelos principales exponentes iberoamericanos sobreAlfabetización Mediática e Informacional [AMI], los resultadosson producto de una búsqueda en la WoS, en la categoría Arts& Humanities Citation Index [AHCI], con el uso de filtros MediaLiteracy y Alfabetización Mediática e Informacional, los resultadosse almacenan en una base de datos que se depura y luegose analiza en el software bibliométrico VOSviewer. Los tipos deanálisis son coautoría, con los métodos Association Strengh y Ling/Long Modularity, la información se presenta en tablas y redesbibliométricas; y se visualiza el nivel de asociación y densidad queexiste por autor y país. Los resultados muestran a España con elmayor número de investigadores con publicaciones en revistas dealto impacto con diferentes enfoques sobre la AMI y la incidenciaen la sociedad contemporánea desde el ámbito educativo, político,económico y tecnológico; su contribución aúna criterios sobrela necesidad de implementar procesos de enseñanza-aprendizajecon soporte en TIC para innovar el ámbito educativo, ya que losmedios digitales no suscitan cambios por sí mismos, es necesariala colaboración gubernamental en América Latina; los referentesiberoamericanos de la AMI son Ignacio Aguaded, Luis MiguelRomero Rodríguez, Rosa García Ruiz, Amor Pérez Rodríguez.
AB This review article presents the theoretical basis of contributions,lines of research and approaches that exist from the Ibero-American point of view, with the aim of showing quantitativelythe main Ibero-American exponents on Media and InformationLiteracy [MIL], the results are the product of a search in the WoS,in the category Arts & Humanities Citation Index [AHCI], usingMedia Literacy and Media and Information Literacy filters; theresults are stored in a database that is debugged and then analyzedin the VOSviewer bibliometric software; the types of analysisare co-authored, with the Association Strengh and Ling/LongModularity methods; the information is presented in tables andbibliometric networks; visualizing the level of association anddensity given by author and country. The results show Spain withthe largest number of researchers with publications in high-impactjournals, showing different approaches to MIL and its impacton contemporary society from the educational, political, economicand technological fields; its contribution combines criteria onthe need to implement teaching-learning processes supportedin ICT to innovate the educational field since digital media donot cause changes by themselves is necessary government collaborationin Latin America; the Ibero-American referents of theMIL are Ignacio Aguaded, Luis Miguel Romero Rodríguez, RosaGarcía Ruiz, Amor Pérez Rodríguez.
