AB La presente tesis doctoral permitió conocer y valorar la aplicabilidad de la responsabilidad socialuniversitaria en el departamento del Meta, en razón al compromiso personal, institucional y social quedeben mantener las entidades de educación superior, por lo tanto se plantea la siguiente cuestión:¿Cómo fortalecer el rol de la responsabilidad social en las Universidades del Departamento del Meta,que permita nueva identidad, compromiso y desarrollo sostenible? La finalidad de este estudio fueconocer y reconocer la aplicabilidad de las buenas prácticas desde el currículo oculto. Para este logro,se llevó a cabo una revisión documental y bibliográfica sobre el tema de estudio, se construyó unmodelo cuidadoso sobre la Responsabilidad Social Universitaria RSU, fundamentado en la teoría deFrancisco Vallaeys y Bernardo Klisberg y el trabajo empírico de la comunidad académica. Se diseñóuna metodología propia partiendo del estudio de caso de una institución de educación superior, elaplicativo se suministró a 225 a estudiantes, 28 egresados, 27 directivo-administrativos y 63 aprofesores. La estructura de la tesis la componen 13 capítulos aglutinados en cuatro partes.La primera parte presenta la introducción o fundamentación de la investigación, compuesta por losantecedentes, el problema de la investigación, los objetivos, la hipótesis a defender, el por qué sejustifica el tema y su ejecución, qué se quiere lograr, las limitaciones presentadas y cuáles fueron losalcances de la investigación.En la segunda parte se construyó la fundamentación teórica, se analizaron investigaciones realizadas endiferentes universidades nivel mundial, latinoamericano y colombiano; se hizo un breve análisis sobrela Formación Profesional Integral en las universidad frente al desarrollo sostenible de la región; seelaboró la caracterización del ámbito territorial donde se llevó a cabo la investigación y se realizó unanálisis estratégico en la institución objeto de estudio, frente a la responsabilidad social universitaria.La tercera parte sobre la metodología utilizada, de nivel descriptivo, analítico y de carácter mixto,incluyó materiales utilizados para la recolección de información como la herramienta tipo encuesta. Seaplicó el Programa Estadístico SSPS para la tabulación y gráficas de datos cuantitativos y la EscalaLikert para análisis cualitativos.En la cuarta parte se presentan los resultados obtenidos los cuales se cotejaron, y se diseñaron 15 ejesestratégicos, ejecutados en un 87% con la participación de la comunidad académica especialmente delos estudiantes, que permitieron dar respuesta a: ¿Cómo fortalecer el rol de la responsabilidad social enlas Universidades del Departamento del Meta, que permita nueva identidad, compromiso y desarrollosostenible? Del autodiagnóstico y análisis obtenidos en el trabajo empírico se lograron resultadosclaros y concretos mediante indicadores, que permitieron el diseño de estrategias y cumplir el objetivode fortalecer el rol de Responsabilidad Social Universitaria, desde las funciones sustantivas.Es importante mencionar que el 87% de estos ejes estratégicos se ejecutaron en la investigación,quedando un remanente para la continuidad y profundización de la línea de investigación. Se pudoconcluir que si bien es cierto, se están desarrollando actividades de buenas prácticas de responsabilidadsocial universitarias, se requiere formación en el tema, más compromiso, mayor atención a la gestiónde las buenas prácticas desde la docencia, investigación, extensión y gestión, los estudiantes en un 95%están prestos a participar en estas acciones, y así generar mayor compromiso desde los criterios deldesarrollo sostenible. Los resultados obtenidos en la tesis, permiten avanzar hacia futurasinvestigaciones y sustentar el grupo de investigación de responsabilidad social universitaria.
AB This doctoral thesis provides the opportunity to know and value the issue of social responsibility by theuniversities from the province of Meta in regards to the personal, institutional and social commitmentwhich these entities of higher education must have. Therefore, the following issue arises: How tostrengthen the roll of social responsibility in the universities of Meta so as to enable a new identity,commitment and a sustainable development? The purpose of this study was to know the applicabilityof the good practices taken from the hidden curriculum. To do this a document and bibliographicreview was carried out about subject of study; a methodical model about University SocialResponsibility (USR) was designed grounded in the theory given by Francisco Vallaeys and BernardoKlisberg, and the empirical work of the academic community. A proper methodology was designedbased on the study of an institution of higher education; the probe was applied to 225 students, 28alumni, 27 staff members and 63 professors. The thesis is structured by 13 chapters gathered in fourparts: The first part presents the introduction or the rationale for the research composed of thebackground, the problems with research, the objectives, the hypothesis to support, the reasons to justifythe topic and its applicability; what is to be accomplished, the limitations given, and what theaccomplishments of the research were.In the second part the theoretical foundation was laid, several research findings given at differentuniversities at world level were analyzed. Moreover, a brief analysis about the integrating,professional formation in universities in regards to the sustainable development of the region wasmade. Also, the characterization of the territorial scope was designed where the research took place,and a strategic analysis was conducted in the institution subject of study.The third part which is about the methodology implemented: analytical, descriptive, and a mixture ofboth, included material used to collect information such as surveys. Furthermore, the statisticalprogram SSPS was applied for the tabulation plus graphics, quantitative data and the Likert scale forqualitative analysis.In the fourth part the given results are presented and collated, 15 strategic points were elaborated andexecuted by an 87% with the participation of the academic community especially the students; thisenabled the answer to the question: How to strengthen the roll of social responsibility in theuniversities of Meta so as to enable a new identity, commitment and a sustainable development?Several achievements came out of the self-diagnosis and analysis within the empirical work. Clear andconcrete results were the product of indicators which allowed for the outline of strategies and fulfill theobjective of strengthening the roll of Social University Responsibility from the substantial functions. Itis important to mention the fact that 87% of these strategic points were put into research leaving theremaining for the community and the deepening in the area. It was realized that even though is truethat practices of good university social responsibility are being developed, there is a need for moreformation, more commitment, more attention to the management of good practices beginning with thefaculty, research, extension and direction; the students, by a 95%, are willing to participate in suchactivities and therefore generate a major commitment with the sustainable development.The findings obtained in this thesis enable the advancement to further investigation and uphold thegroup for Sustainable Social Development.
