This, fault dips to the South and bound two sub-basins; the Aliaga sub-basin, on the uplifted fault foot-wall, contains 320 m of syn-rift Kimmeridgian to middle Albian rocks, whereas the Calve sub-basin, on the downfallen hangingwall, contains up to 2290 m of syn-rift rocks. The Calve sub-basin was inverted during the Tertiary, thrusting on the Aliaga sub-basin by means of the inversion of the normal fault, which became a reverse fault, and by a newly formed thrust in the foot- wall of it; a fault-propagation fold formed at the tip of the latter}, publisher = {Sociedad Geológica de España}, title = {Inversión terciaria de la falla normal mesozoica que limitaba la subcuenca de Calve (cuenca del Maestrazgo)}, title = {Tertiary inversion of a Mesozoic normal fault (Galve sub-basin, Maestrat basin)}, author = {Guimerà, J. and Salas, Ramón}, }
