T1 Viejas y nuevas formas de censura en la sociedad de la información

AB Las viejas formas de censura no han desaparecido con la democracia y la consiguiente libertad de expresión, sino que han sido reemplazadas por otras que aquí se definen como autocensura. El análisis de portadas de diarios publicados en Barcelona entre 1979 y 1999 permite probar que la mirada informativa se ha tornado más restrictiva y partidista, ha dejado de atender a la mayoría de la población y de considerarla protagonista activa de la vida social, y se enfoca preferentemente a unos pocos líderes de la vida pública.
AB The old ways of censorship have not disappeared with the democracy and the consequent freedom of expression, but they have been replaced by other ways of censorship that are defined as self-censorship here. The analysis of covers of newspapers published in Barcelona between 1979 and 1999 allows proving that the informative look has become more restrictive and partisan, it has stopped paying attention to most of the population and considering it the active protagonist of the social life, and it focuses preferably on a few leaders of the public life.
