AB La lingüística forense se ocupa delestudio de la interfaz entre lengua y derecho,pero esta disciplina, por su carácter novedoso,aún se encuentra en pleno desarrollo en muchos países, entre ellos, España. Es por estoque, en este artículo, señalamos algunas fechasy acontecimientos que han sido fundamentalespara el surgimiento y avance de esta materia,para, posteriormente, realizar un recorrido porsu situación actual en los ámbitos anglosajón,germánico o español, entre otros. Asimismo, serecogen las principales asociaciones, centros deinvestigación y universidades donde se llevan acabo acciones formativas o profesionalizantesen torno a la !gura del lingüista forense
AB Forensic linguistics deals with thestudy of the interface between language andthe law, however, this new discipline, due toits recent appearance, is still in early stagesof development in many countries, includingSpain. This is why, in this article, some datesand events that have been decisive for the emergence and progress of this !eld are mentioned,followed by a review of its current situationparticularly in English-speaking countries,Germanic countries and Spain, among others.Finally, the main associations, research centresand universities where training or professionalizing activities are carried out in the !eld offorensic linguistics are also described
