AB En este trabajo se aportan algunos documentos inéditos en torno a las figuras de Juan Agustín de Mora Negro y Garrocho, autor de la Huelva Ilustrada, y del académico sevillano José Cevallos. Se trata de testamentos, inventarios, actas capitulares y otros documentos procedentes del archivo particular de D. Ignacio Fernández Ramírez-Siurot, descendiente de la familia Mora Garrocho y de otros archivos locales. Se perfila con nuevos datos y nuevas perspectivas el contexto de sus figuras y se pone de manifiesto la importancia de la colaboración que existió entre ambos a la hora de componer la Huelva Ilustrada. El extenso Dictamen de José Cevallos que acompaña dicha obra, es fundamental para comprender mejor la misma y valorar adecuadamente los materiales historiográficos, que contiene. Estos continúan siendo útiles para los historiadores.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AB This study presents several previously unpublished documents concerning Juan Agustín de Mora Negro y Garrocho, author of Huelva Ilustrada, and José Cevallos, fellow of the Academia Sevillana de Buenas Letras. The materials include wills, inventories, record of city council meetings and other documents preserved in the private collection of Ignacio Fernández Ramírez-Siurot, a descendant of the Mora Garrocho family and in local archives. These documents offer new data and perspectives that refine our understanding of both figures and highlight their significant collaboration in the composition of Huelva Ilustrada. The report written by José Cevallos, which accompanies the work, is essential for a proper interpretation of the text and for assessing its historiographical materials that are still used by historians today.
