Asimismo rastrea su pervivenciaen la historiografía medieval y renacentista.
AB The present paper tackles the incidence of deliberative rhetoric upon the militaryharangue oc colwrtatio in the ancient bistoriograpbical tradition, more specifzcally tbespeeches addressed by the general to bis soldiers just before the battle. It also tracesits continuity in medieval and Renaissance historiography.
