Esta contribución pretende ofrecer una breve noticia de la enorme e importantísima obra de la homenajeada. En 
particular, se destacan los aspectos más relevantes de su triología: Les forces imaginantes du droit, y se abordan los 
conceptos propios de la penalista como el ‘pluralisme ordonné’, y los distintos caminos de integración, fundamental-
mente dos: la ‘unificación’ y la ‘armonización’, sin olvidarse de las garantías que debe ofrecer el Derecho penal en el 
mundo globalizado y el papel de los jueces.},
abstract = {This paper is an extended version of the laudatio I presented on the occasion of the award of the Cesare 
Beccaria Medal by the International Society of Social Defence, to the brilliant jurist Mireille Delmas-Marty. This 
contribution reviews some of the most important works of the honoree. In particular, it underlines the most relevant 
aspects of her trilogy: Les forces imaginantes du droit, and deals with concepts that are central to her thinking, such as 
‘pluralisme ordonné’, and the different paths towards the integration, essentially two: ‘unification’ and ‘harmonization’, 
without forgetting the guarantees that Criminal Law must provide in the globalised world and the role of the judges.},
